Vacuum plates are specially designed to fit their paired skimmer boxes. This is the thing that you have to keep in mind when purchasing replacement vacuum plates. So if you have a Poolrite skimmer box, you should get a Poolrite vacuum plate that matches the model of the skimmer box, and the same goes for all of the other brands as well.

One of the most common causes of a pool suction cleaner not having pressure is a loose or cracked vacuum plate. So if ever you do run across problems like that then be sure to check your vacuum plates for damage.
