Who is Mr Pool Man?
Aussie-owned and family-operated with 35+ years of experience, Mr Pool Man was founded back in 1998 when Hardy Hintze (Dad) stepped out of a national sales role to start his own pool maintenance business and live the self-employed dream.

Fast forward, Tom (Son) and Natalie (Daughter) have grown the business into Australia's leading online pool supplies retailer. We're a passionate team of pool experts genuinely interested in each and every one of our customers' pools.

Why We Started
We noticed a gap in the industry for quality equipment and chemicals, combined with fast delivery and honest advice—and we wanted to bridge that. We believe that with the right products and knowledge, pool ownership should be simple and enjoyable for everyone.
Our Milestones
1998
Hardy takes the leap and Mr Pool Man is born, starting as a local pool maintenance business.
2012
Tom and Natalie join the family business, launching it into the online world.
2018
Our exclusive Water TechniX brand is launched, bringing innovative products to Aussie pools.

Seven years ago, we set out to create a truly revolutionary way to take better care of our pools without breaking the bank, and you know what? We finally cracked the code with our home-grown brand of pool supplies, Water TechniX, made and exclusively owned by Mr Pool Man.

This was the question that plagued our minds. We didn't like what was out there or the warranty processes behind them. So, we took matters into our own hands. After years of customer feedback—the good, the bad, and the ugly—we combined it all into one neat package, leaving only what pool owners are looking for: efficient and affordable pool equipment and chemicals.

Our Dad brought us up with a no-BS philosophy: "Do good, treat people well and you'll sleep good at night". Safe to say we've used that line of thinking to not only run Mr Pool Man, but inject high standards into our own, ever-developing Water TechniX brand.
