Water TechniX Stain Remover is designed to tackle a wide range of common pool stains, including:

•Faint algae-related stains, including black spot shadows. These stains are effectively broken down and lifted from your pool surfaces, helping to restore a clean and clear finish.
How does it work? The formula uses a specialised blend of active ingredients to chemically react with stain particles. It breaks down and dissolves metals (like rust and iron) and organic materials (such as leaves and algae marks) without damaging your pool surfaces. This process loosens and fades the stain, making it much easier to remove without harsh scrubbing or abrasive methods
How do I apply it?
For best results, we recommend preparing your pool water first:
Chlorine level: Reduce to 1ppm or lower (high chlorine can reduce effectiveness)
pH level: Adjust to 7.6 (this helps activate the stain remover)
Application steps:
Directions: Concrete / Pebble Crete / quartzon / Glass Beads : Turn off the filter. Apply stain remover directly onto the affected area, do not pre-dissolve. Leave for 24 hours. Regular brushing is recommend to remove stain. Once stain is removed, then turn the filter back on, super chlorinate, and adjust pH to 7.6. Do not swim until the water is clear and pH is balanced.
Note: Stubborn or older stains may require 2-3 repeat treatments for complete removal.
We recommend to trail in a less inconspicuous area to begin with, apply the product, let sit for 2 hours, scrub and assess, evaluate the performance then gauge your treatment plan accordingly.

Yes! Water TechniX Stain Remover is formulated to be gentle on a wide range of pool finishes, including:
- Concrete / Pebblecrete / Glass Beads
- Fibreglass ( care should be taken )
- Vinyl ( Additional care should be taken - we suggest to contain within a skimmer sock and rub the area )

NOTE : Stain remover is a base, it lowers PH, low PH inhibits the clarity of the water, it's important to raise the PH levels to 7.6ppm, Apply Alkalinity increaser (buffer) as required. Following the treatment, apply a floc if you have a sand filter, or clarifier if you have a cartridge filter. Manually vacuum to waste all remaining residue as required and ensure to clean your filter.
