Lower Chlorine Levels
Reduce chlorine to 0 to 1 ppm before application. The stain remover works best in low-chlorine water. Chlorine is naturally lower after winter, so you may already be close.
Apply the Product
For Concrete, Pebblecrete, Quartzon, and Tile:
With pump OFF, sprinkle powder directly onto stains. For wall stains, use the sock trick. Fill a sock with powder, scrub, then hang over the spot.
For Fibreglass and Vinyl Pools:
Use the sock method only. Direct application may cause bleaching on these surfaces. Fill a sock with powder, scrub the stained area, then hang the sock over the spot to let the formula work safely.
For Driveways, Fences and Outdoor Surfaces:
Sprinkle directly onto rust marks, oil stains, or grime. Add a little water to activate. Let sit, then rinse. Spot test on painted or natural stone first.
Let It Work, Then Brush and Rebalance
Allow 1 to 2 hours for light stains, or overnight for stubborn marks. Since the pool isn't in use yet, you can let it sit as long as needed. Gently brush treated areas. Stains lift away easily. Rebalance water to pH 7.2 to 7.6 and chlorine 1.5 to 3.0 ppm. Use Oxi Shock to restore sparkle.
Important Safety Note
Wait until stains are fully treated and water chemistry is rebalanced before swimming. Always spot test on outdoor surfaces before full application. Not recommended for marble or limestone. For fibreglass and vinyl pools, use the sock method only.
