The first step to balancing your pool is always to have some Water testing kits handy. You can’t balance your pool water without knowing what the actual levels are. Don’t believe people when they say they can balance the pool chemical levels “by feel”. Your pool chemical levels are affected by a variety of factors like the weather, the number of users, and even by other pool chemicals. 

The next (and most important!) part to pool chemical balancing is to always have a handy supply of Pool chemicals on hand so that you’ll be able to fix and balance your pool chemical levels after testing your water.
