Types of Waterco Pool Filters

There are two main types of Waterco pool filters: cartridge filters and sand filters. Waterco Cartridge filters like the Paramount, Trimline, Fulflo, and Multi Cyclone are cylindrical tanks with a paper element inside. 

Tip: If a Waterco filter cartridge is clogged, it can usually be cleaned by giving it a good hose down with a Water TechniX Waterwand or a soak in some specially formulated Water TechniX Filter Cleaning Solution to melt away  any dirt and grime that's stubbornly clinging to your filter elements.

Pro Tip: When choosing Waterco pool filters, it’s always better to oversize. Oversizing your pool filter means that you will have longer cycles in between filter cleaning or backwashes. Oversized filters will also reduce the overall stress on your pool pumps by allowing your filters to catch more dirt and debris before the pressure increases. 

BUT when choosing a replacement Waterco filter element,  be sure to get the exact same model of your existing Waterco cartridge filter!
