Reduce chlorine to 0β1 ppm β this is the most critical step. In winter (MayβAugust), your chlorine is naturally lower and the pool is less used, making this the ideal time to treat. Use Water TechniX Chlorine Remover to drop levels instantly if needed, rather than waiting days for it to fall naturally.
With the pump OFF, sprinkle the powder directly onto stains. For walls, use the 'sock trick' (see our pro tips below). Let it sit for a few hours.
After 1β2 hours, gently scrub the treated areas with a suitable pool brush. The stains should lift away easily without harsh scrubbing.
Spot treatment β apply a small amount to cover the stain. Widespread staining β approximately 1kg per 2 square metres for best results.
