5 Steps to Crystal Clear Water
Before you start: Keep the filter running through every step below.
Prep the Pool
Brush down the walls and floor thoroughly to loosen up the algae. Then scoop or vacuum out any leaves, dirt, and debris. The cleaner your pool is before you start, the faster the chemicals will work.
Add Black Spot Remover
Pour the recommended dose of Black Spot Remover (high-dose chlorine shock) straight into your skimmer basket. The pump will pull it through the filter and distribute it evenly around the pool. This is your heavy hitter that nukes the algae on contact.
Walk in the Algaecide
Slowly pour the algaecide along the surface of the deep end as you walk around the edge of the pool. This ensures even coverage and kills any remaining algae spores before they can regrow.
