Your Secret Weapon Against Outdoor Stains
Our formula works smarter, not harder โ chemically lifting rust, oil and mineral deposits from your patios and driveways.
Our blend of Oxalic and Citric acids (980g/kg) dissolves rust drips from metal furniture, bore water deposits, oil spills, and fertilizer marks in minutes.
Safe on concrete slabs, driveways, non-porous outdoor tiles, pebblecrete, exposed aggregate, and brick when spot-tested first. See the compatibility guide above.
Chemically reacts with the stain and loosens its grip on the surface. Just apply as a slurry, let it sit for 5โ15 minutes, give a light brush, and rinse with a garden hose.
A Spotless Patio in 4 Simple Steps
Ditch the heavy scrubbing. Follow our guide to effortlessly restore your outdoor surfaces.
Wet the Surface
Hose down the stained area first. The surface needs to be wet before applying the product so it doesn't soak in too fast or dry out.
Apply the Powder
Sprinkle generously over the wet stain. For vertical surfaces like fences, mix the powder with water in a bucket to form a thick paste and brush it on directly.
Let It React
Allow 5โ15 minutes dwell time. You may actually watch the rust or mineral stain start to change colour and lift. Do not let the paste dry out entirely during this phase.
Brush & Rinse
Give a light scrub with a stiff bristle brush or broom, then rinse thoroughly with your hose. Repeat if needed for decades-old deep-set stains.
Disclaimer & Crucial Application Tips
Testing Phase Disclaimer: This product is within an ongoing testing phase for outdoor household surfaces. Until we test on all surface types, we cannot accept responsibility for unintended effects. Use sparingly and cease immediately if damage occurs.
Spot Testing is Mandatory: Always test a small, inconspicuous area before broad application โ especially on painted surfaces or natural stone. Not recommended for use on porous stones.
Protect Your Garden: Be careful around lawns, plants and prized garden displays โ highly acidic runoff can cause yellowing. Direct runoff away from plants and rinse thoroughly. Handle all runoff responsibly to prevent it entering storm drains or waterways.
The Underwater Miracle Worker
It's Australia's favourite secret for erasing years of underwater scale, organic stains, and rust โ without draining the pool. If you have pool stains too, this is your holy grail.

Get the Best Results Every Time
Keep the Surface Wet
If the paste starts to dry out during the dwell time, mist with a spray bottle. A dry crust reduces the chemical contact and slows the reaction.
Work in the Shade
Avoid applying in direct midday sun on hot days โ the mixture evaporates too quickly on hot concrete before it has time to react properly.
Use a Stiff Brush
A deck scrubbing brush or stiff-bristle garden broom makes light work of stubborn stains after the dwell time โ no heavy elbow grease required.
Protect Your Plants First
Wet down nearby plants and lawn edges before you start, then rinse the whole area thoroughly afterward to dilute any acidic runoff away from roots.
Homeowners Are Loving the Results
See how Aussie homeowners are using our versatile formula to save driveways and patios across the country.
"I had a metal firepit leak rusty water all over my concrete patio. Made a paste, let it sit for 10 minutes, and the rust completely vanished with a light scrub. Magic!"
"We use bore water for the sprinklers and it left orange stains all over our front fence. Mixed this in a bucket, brushed it on, hosed it off. The fence looks brand new."
"Bought this originally for the pool, but noticed it said outdoor use too. Tried it on dark leaf stains on my light-coloured driveway pavers. Saved me renting a pressure washer."
Frequently Asked Questions
The active ingredients are organic and biodegradable. However, it is a highly acidic compound โ similar to concentrated vinegar. If heavy, concentrated runoff hits your lawn or prized garden displays, it can cause yellowing and damage. Wet down nearby plants before use and rinse the area thoroughly afterward to dilute any runoff well below harmful concentrations.
Acids can etch or lighten certain natural stones, particularly porous calcite-based ones like limestone, marble, and travertine. This product is not recommended on porous stones. You must always perform a spot test in an inconspicuous area first before applying to the full surface โ ensure no alteration to the stone's finish before proceeding.
Coverage depends heavily on how heavily stained the surface is. For outdoor pathways and driveways used as a slurry, 1kg generally covers several square metres of heavily stained concrete. For spot-treatments (like rust marks from furniture legs), a single jar can last for dozens of individual treatments.
Yes โ as shown in our before-and-after GIFs above, applying the formula directly to oil or grease spots, allowing it to dwell, and following up with a stiff scrub lifts stubborn vehicle oil and BBQ grease right out of porous concrete without a pressure washer.
Absolutely โ this is actually the same product originally formulated for use inside swimming pools! It's perfectly safe around pool coping, surrounds, and pebblecrete. In fact, many customers buy it to treat both their patio stains and their pool stains at the same time with a single jar. Just rinse runoff away from the pool water.
