How do I get my pool cleaners ready for winter?

  • Leave no-one behind: Make sure to take everything out of the pool, from hoses, cleaners, and any other cleaner accessory.
  • Rinse and Dry: Before storing, rinse them thoroughly to remove any leftover debris or chemicals. Chemical residues from dried up pool water can damage some parts of your cleaner.
  • Visually inspect your cleaners: Check all of the parts, note down any that look worn out or about to go. Order some spare parts before the next season so they’re ready to go once spring arrives.
  • Safe Haven: Store your cleaners in a cool, dry location that’s somewhat temperature regulated. Ideally, it should not be exposed to extreme temperatures or the elements.
  • Cover Up: When not in use for an extended period, cover your cleaners to shield it from dust and debris.
